Ok, so today was Ash Wednesday.  It's pretty easy to avoid fast food and keep your calorie count <2000/day when you're fasting.  That doesn't mean I was without temptation -- one of my co-workers asked if I wanted to go to Taco Bell for lunch. 
All in all, I did pretty good.  Ate a protein bar and hot chocolate for lite snacks during the day and fish and salad for dinner.  I'm still hungry right now, and seriously eyeing Tyler's left-over pizza that he didn't eat, but I will continue to stay the course.  I'll probably go to bed early -- the longer I stay up, the more tempted I am to snack and nibble.

Nice job. Taco Bell used to be one of my fav places, but sounds pretty gross lately. Nursing sure helps--the thought of putting that into Camille's body just seems really evil. Too bad you can't help nurse Adam! :)
ReplyDeleteWe are doing the Primal Blueprint diet--so far so good. Like you said, first day in isn't so bad especially on a fast day. I feel like it's going to be a pretty good diet--especially since I've lost 3 pounds and feel more energized. I can't tell if that's the diet kicking in or the fact that Camille's been sleeping in her crib all night the past two nights and taking big naps. Awesome. :)
Keep up the good work! Think how nice it will be for all of us when Mom and Dad's pool gets finished and we're all skinnier! We'll be able to take pictures of our pool parties for our photo books without being all embarrassed!
